In a twist of events, AmaZulu have entered the race for the signature of a Kaizer Chiefs target, the Siya crew can reveal.
As previously reported by the crew, Chiefs were closing in on Cameroonian striker, Eva Nga, with indications that Usuthu are believed to entered the transfer race alongside Amakhosi in the pursuit of the in-form player.
The Durban-based side is understood to be looking to bolster their striking department, having scored 22 goals in 26 matches this term, and the Siya crew has been informed that Nga is a man they have identified as a top priority to join the club for next season.
According to Siya sources, AmaZulu are believed to be closing on the star, and appear to be in a two-horse race with Chiefs for the Chippa United striker.
After a slow start to life in the PSL, Nga has finally found his scoring touch, reaching double figures for the first time this season since arriving in the country in 2020 to play for Bidvest Wits. He is currently on 10 league goals, which is four more than he banged in last season for the Chilli Boys.
His form has certainly caught the attention of clubs in the DStv Premiership, with AmaZulu believed to be working hard behind the scenes to ensure he is wearing their jersey by the time the 2022/23 kicks off.
