There were a few new faces on show in the Absa Premiership this past weekend as three clubs handed out debuts, with a Kaizer Chiefs man getting his first game since May.
Check out the debutants in the gallery above!
A number of clubs have delved into the transfer market since the start of the January transfer window, and over the past couple of weeks their supporters have had the chance to see some of their new stars in action.
This past weekend saw a return to the pitch for Kabelo Mahlasela after nearly eight months of sitting on the sidelines following his loan move from Naturena to Polokwane City, with the attacker coming on as a first half substitute in their 1-0 defeat to Baroka.
Meanwhile, there were two debuts in the clash between AmaZulu and SuperSport United, one for each side, as both Milos Lacny and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe entered in the second half as Matsatsantsa went on to seal a 2-0 victory in KwaZulu-Natal.
Now, with another round of fixtures upon us this week, the likes of Moses Waiswa (SuperSport), Siphelele Magubane (AmaZulu), Ethen Sampson (Baroka), Farai Madhanaga and Eva Nga (both Wits) – among others – will be hoping to get their first run out for their respective teams.
