The Amakhosi have been drawn as the home side for this year’s Nedbank final against TS Galaxy, meaning that they get first choice of kit and dressing room, with the club likely to select their famous home jersey for the clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Chiefs are currently enduring their longest ever dry spell with regards to trophies – they haven’t won anything since their 2014/15 Absa Premiership win – but that could all come to an end after they beat Chippa United 4-2 in the Nedbank semifinal yesterday.
Several big-name signings have been brought on board in recent years to try and bring that dry spell to an end, and the likes of Khama Billiat, Daniel Cardoso, Leonardo Castro and Ramahlwe Mphahlele have certainly played their role in helping them get to the brink of doing so.
