In Numbers: The 6 Most Dangerous Chiefs & City Players

As Kaizer Chiefs prepare to come up against Cape Town City in the DStv Premiership this weekend, Soccer Laduma looks at the most dangerous players from both sides, based on numbers.

Both sides have enterprising players who create a lot of problems for defenders and it will be up to them to inspire their sides to maximum points when they lock horns at FNB Stadium. Soccer Laduma looks at the players who have contributed the most with goals and assists this season.

CHIEFS

Keagan Dolly

Dolly is having the time of his life at the moment at Chiefs, proving to be their most important player in front of goal. The former Ajax Cape Town man has found the back of the net six times in the Premiership, just three behind leading goalscorer Peter Shalulile. Dolly has three assists in the Premiership and one in the cup. He has been directly involved in 10 goals for the club this season.

Khama Billiat

The Zimbabwean attacker is coming alive this season for Amakhosi, playing a key role with both goals and assists. The former Mamelodi Sundowns player has bagged five goals for the club this season and is looking good with five assists to his name. He is definitely a player who can cause problems for the Citizens. Like Dolly, he has been directly involved in 10 goals this season.

Bernard Parker

Parker is having a much better season than he did last term in front of goal. Last season he scored only one goal and he has three more than that in this campaign. He has one assist, so he has been directly involved in five goals for the Soweto giants.

CITY

Mduduzi Mdantsane

The attacking midfielder has been the main source of goals for the club, scoring five in the Premiership and one in the cup. He does not have any assists thus far. He is arguably the club's most dangerous player.

Surprise Ralani

He is one of City's most creative players, causing a lot of problems for the opposition defenders. Ralani has two goals in all competitions for the club this season and has contributed with two assists. He has been directly involved in four goals for the club this season.

Fagrie Lakay

Recently called up to the Bafana Bafana squad, Lakay's pace can be a problem for any defence. He has netted two goals in all competitions and has as many assists. Like Ralani, the 24-year-old has been directly involved in four goals.
