Players’ market values continue to either rise or fall based on their form, although with Amakhosi at the top of the Absa Premiership league standings, several of their first team stars will enjoy an increase in their value.

According to the figures on transfermarkt.com, here are Chiefs' 10 most expensive players in 2020 based on their values in the market for the current season:

Khama Billiat:

Billiat has made 12 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and one assist. 

Market Value: €2 million (±R32.2m)

Itumeleng Khune:

Khune, who is still looking to make a full return from injury, has made just two appearances in all competitions for Chiefs so far this season, with Daniel Akpeyi now in charge of the posts.

Market Value: €1.2 million (±R19.2m)

George Maluleka:

Maluleka has been one of Chiefs’ most influential players this season, enjoying a rich vein of form. The midfielder has made 18 appearances in all competitions.

Market Value: €850 thousand (±R13.6m)

Ramahlwe Mphahlele:

Mphahlele has made just two appearances in all competitions for Amakhosi but remains one of their most valuable players.

Daniel Cardoso:

Cardoso has been key in Chiefs’ defense this season, making 20 appearances in all competitions, while also scoring five goals.

Daniel Akpeyi:
