Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly joined the race for Bayer Leverkusen sensation, Kai Havertz.
The attacking midfielder has been among the Bundesliga's top performers over the past two seasons, and ended the 2018/19 campaign with 20 goals and seven assists across all competitions for Leverkusen.
With the 20-year-old having found the back of the net 15 times, in addition to eight assists, so far this season, a big move away could be on the cards.
According to the Daily Express, United have now joined the race for his signature and want to bring the young sensation to Old Trafford.
It is claimed that the Red Devils are prepared to offer Leverkusen £50 million (R1.07 billion) to secure his services.
Recent talks between Real Madrid and Havertz's representatives reportedly broke down, with it being understood that the LaLiga giants were unable to meet some of the player's demands.
