Manchester United has completed another big signing in the form of Angel Di Maria, with this transfer period being one of United’s busiest to date.
Di Maria, who is now officially a Red Devil, joins the new boys Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera and, more recently, Marcos Rojo.
To critics, this was not well received as they asked what role Di Maria will play in the new 3-5-2 formation that Louis van Gaal has implemented.
Many believe Di Maria was not a necessity, but some believe that Ashley Young’s days at United are numbered or even that Juan Mata’s days becoming short at the club.
Nevertheless, LVG is hailed for his tactics and will play the way he does to get the best out of players
It is still early days for LVG, but things are looking a bit wobbly for the Red Devils, particularly in defence.
Will the arrival of Di Maria spark some life into a lacklustre United side?
