Why Pirates Will Be A Team To Watch Next Season!

Orlando Pirates have had their ups and downs this season and at a stage they were facing one of their toughest seasons in the PSL, especially after losing the final of the CAF Confiderations Cup.

Some people blamed their drop of form as a result of losing in the CONFED Cup final as they felt that the loss was to heavy for the players to cope. The results were not coming in the league at the time, and the coach was crucified, and blamed as usual.

Most of the supporters were calling for Tinkler’s head and calling him an intern, and they finally came up with the '#Tinklermustfall' hashtag. However, as things stand it can be said that things have turned around and players are showing more hunger to win and play as a team.

Everyone wants to fight for the team and prove there is quality and that they are not a bunch of losers. The return to the starting line up for the likes of Mhlongo, Qalinge, Gymah, Myeni, Memela and Ndoro have made a huge difference for sure.

The team has been playing a good brand of attacking football and the goals are now coming, while they are also doing well in defence. It seems now very soon we will start to see the '#Tinklermusttay' hashtag.

They may have lost against Bidvest Wits on Wednesday night, but their run of good results in their previous fixtures may have given confidence to everyone associated with the Buccaneers, and even though there will be no league title, they still have the Nedbank Cup to play for.

With players now playing their hearts out and possible additions to come next season, as well as the return of injured players such as Manyisa, we will be hoping that come next season, Bucs will be a team to watch!

Do you think Pirates will be unstoppable next season with Tinkler as their head coach?
