WHY BLACK LEOPARDS NOT REGISTERING MUSONDA
According to Lidoda Duvha manager Elijah Mulaudzi, the club has opted not to waste their foreign spot by registering someone who might leave before the close of the transfer window. "We are waiting for the offers for Musonda," says Mulaudzi. "But if there are no offers, then we'll have to continue using him. And we had an agreement with him last season that if he happens to do well, we're going to let him go. But nobody yet at the moment is knocking." Asked why the player was not used in last weekend's defeat to neighbours Polokwane City, Mulaudzi explained. "No, I think the technical team excluded him because of injuries and what-what but he is training with the rest of the team this week. Er... you know in South Africa once you register a foreigner you forfeit the slot. And also we can't register a person who is going to play one game and then ends up leaving so it's going to be a waste of a slot for the whole season. "So the best thing for him and the club, as per the agreement, we have to let him go. So you can see even for yourself because we had an agreement with him, he's still busy also looking... maybe in one or two days the offer will come in, then if the offer comes we'll accept and let him go. "We didn't [register him], we said to ourselves we are not going to register Musonda up until there is no offer at all. I think we are not forced to register him because he is still contracted to the club."
