Who's Kaizer Chiefs' Player of The Season?

Even though Kaizer Chiefs haven't had an ideal season so far, they have few players who have performed well for the team.

Those players will be rewarded at the end of the season, by their clubs and the league. Considering that most PSL awards might be won by the league winning players, it rules out some teams and players.

But Clubs also hosts their own awards and here are some of the players that might win awards in Kaizer Chiefs’ awards ceremony later this year.

 Reyaad Pieterse

He  been outstanding in the goalposts for the Glamour Boys in the absence of Itu Khune. Reyaad has produced outstanding saves in 13 PSL starts and managed to keep 6 clean sheets, he also won "Man of the Match" awards, and some fans already think he's qualified for a Bafana Bafana call up!

 Lorenzo Gordinho

Has been exceptional in defence for Chiefs. He got his opportunity when Siyanda Xulu got injured and has never looked back, he has won couple of "Man of the Match" awards this season, and his performances was recently rewarded by his first U23s call up. He might be in the U23 team going to Rio in Brazil later this year.

Willard Katsande

Season after season, since he joined from Ajax Cape Town in 2011, he has been a top performer.  This season, Salt n Vinegar has been great for Amakhosi in the middle once again, destroying in the middle, defending and also scoring! He has 4 PSL goals this season so far and has won many "Man of the Match" awards too. Katsande has been Chiefs' general for the last couple of seasons, since the departure of Tinashe Nengomasha.

George Lebese

Kaizer Chiefs' top goalscorer in the Absa Premiership this season so far with just five goals. The Mamelodi born left winger started the season brightly but was interrupted by injuries, and he  scored 5 PSL goals in 16 starts assisting another three.
