This season that Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is find himself in is the same situation which Downs head coach, Pitso Mosimane, experienced at the beginning of last season.
Mamelodi Sundowns fans called for Pitso's sack, following a poor start to the season. Fortunately, Motsepe didn't take the crisis into consideration and, at the end of the season, same supporters were hailing Mosimane left and right.
Now, with Steve Komphela, seeming to be undergoing same scenario, it is possible for him to turn the tables, knowing that Chiefs management still strongly believes in him, and the fact that Chiefs are cup specialists, which could also push him to go for glory, come end of the season. Who knows, perhaps Chiefs could be the most successful club in the PSL, taking to account that there are three trophies that Steve could still win.
In addition, anything is possible. He failed to lift a trophy last season and this season could be his last chance to do better for the team, as well as for his CV in the future.
Having said that, do think Steve Komphela can follow Mosimane's last season path to success?
