The body language of some players seem to suggest that Steve could be on his way out and it may seem as if the team has not yet gelled, or that luck has deserted Chiefs. But the truth is that the starting lineup is not convincing. The tactics need to be reviewed as well. Chiefs only started playing in the second half when Stars where happy to defend their controversial lead.
Komphela’s Chiefs look like a mirror of Van Gaal's Man United. Draws and loses at home are not going to match their ambitions of winning the title. Ultimately Chiefs, like United, may need a high profile manager who will sign high profile players with the character to bring the club back to its winning ways.
