Orlando Pirates' team is far from being a complete force and do still need more time to be considered as the team to beat this season.
The Soweto giants have just brought in a new coach, Muhsin Ertugral, with a new assistant coach and several newly signed players.
The team has some of the best keepers, but none are considered as the first choice keeper with all of them doubtful and not trusted.
The backline is dominated by new faces or signings and the coach is yet to find good, winning combinations and so far, they are not perfect.
In the midfield, Oupa Manyisa has just came from a lengthy spell out injured and is yet to find his best form. And the coach is also strategising and planning who to pair him with in the midfield.
So far, the coach could rely on Bucs’ wingers and Tendai Ndoro’s goal scoring form is good, though it’s no guarantee that he can be consistent.
Pirates have also been affected by the issues of losing a head coach Eric Tinkler, as well as some first team regulars like Sfiso Myeni.
Is pirates a complete project? Does Muhsin need more time to make the team gel?
