Now with the season coming to an end, the top four teams are looking to keep on pushing for the league title and all of them are working on their consistency. Although, soon it’ll be time to prepare for the new season and like teams around the world, they are busy identifying possible signings to bolster their squads.
Here in South Africa, we don't have many superstars, but the likes of Lebogang Manyama, Aubrey Ngoma and Phakamani Mahlambi are already linked with a move to bigger teams. Yet, because we have insufficient talent locally, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs should follow Mamelodi Sundowns and look for stars around Africa, rather than just in Zimbabwe and Zambia. They should look to Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, the Ivory Coast and Cameroon, just Like all big teams around the world.
Look at Barcelona - their front line is made of South Americans, but only Downs seem to scout talent all over Africa and worldwide. Look at their success now and how Denis Onyango and Soumahoro Bangaly contributed in their quest for the star, the CAF Champions League.
