Numbers don't lie but Guinea does

Equatorial Guinea like many other African countries- has been lying about numbers on their- identinty documents. Age cheating has become a habit in Africa.
The west African country was found guilty of using overage players at the under-17 Africa Cup of Nations [Afcon] tournament held in Angola earlier this year. African countries need to learn to be honest about their age. These lies deprive younger and deserving footballers an opportunity to develop and grow through the ranks. Africa does not take football development serious.
The continent' football mother body- African Federation Confederation [CAF]- has done the right thing and stripped Equatorial Guinea of their spot at the Fifa World Cup. Barred from taking part in the next two editions of the under-17 Afcon tournaments. Senegal will now replace Guinea- joining the likes of Cameroon, Nigeria and Angola at the upcoming under-17 Fifa world cup to be held in Brazil.
Africa can't normalise age cheating.
