After Kaizer Chiefs failed to hold onto Masango at the end of the previous season, Amakhosi have experienced quite a struggle in the Right wing position as Bernard Parker and Tshabalala were tested.
Masango played a major role in Kaizer Chiefs previous campaign, and formed part of the deadliest trio midfield named MALEMA consisting of Maluleka, Lebese and Masango. Due to a failure to agree to terms with the club, Masango went on to look for greener pastures where he signed for Randers FC who play in the Danish Superliga.
Amakhosi brought in William Twala as the replacement for Mandla Masango, and he seems to be just the precise element that was missing on the right wing position.
Twala’s first game with Chiefs, when he came in as a second half substitute, didn’t take long to get into the game as he created a goal via a penalty. Twala has been steady in the right wing position as Amakhosi are always anticipating his inclusion in the starting line ahead of every game, it appears like he has won the hearts of Chiefs faithful’s and seems to be that perfect element Amakhosi have been missing.
Do you think Twala is a perfect replacement for Masango?
