Manyisa - Loyalty Vs Money

Mamelodi Sundowns may finally have an 'Ace' up their sleeves if the proposed Oupa Manyisa move materialises.

The diminutive midfielder is expected to become a Brazilian before the end of the week, in a move which could set a new local transfer record.

There's an old adage which goes" one man's poison is another man's meat" and it certainly holds true as Sundowns look set to benefit from Pirates' loss.

The Bucs will feel hard done by if they lose a player who was nurtured at the club's youth ranks, and has grown in leaps and bounds over the years.

The versatile player has been a vital cog for the Sea Robbers in the centre of the park and his departure would leave a huge void.

With football being a short term career though, Manyisa may choose money over loyalty. His move would definitely not be a soccer decision as he has achieved all there is to achieve in the local game.

Will Manyisa be betraying Pirates if he leaves or will he be securing his future?
