Kaizer Chiefs coach, Steve Komphela, has been experiencing criticism since joining the club last season, after failing to win silverware, despite being involved in two cups finals.
Since then the former Bafana captain has been asked to step down by fans, however, the support shown by the players and management gave him some respite, hence he is still the coach of Amakhosi.
Now Chiefs are completing their second season without a trophy under coach Steve and stats don't lie. Chiefs have never experienced such a poor couple of seasons in many years. Therefore, if Steve is brave enough, he would call a press briefing and thank the club for the opportunity to coach Chiefs, but, because it is beyond him, the club is not doing well and he will resign.
Furthermore, that would be good for his reputation, rather than waiting to be fired because then that will mean he has no choice but to pack his bags and leave Naturena unwillingly. And that could see him struggle to get a job at another clubs, which he hasn't experienced before.
Having said that, should Komphela save his reputation and calls it quit in Naturena?
