Gyan's inclusion will cause havoc
Asamoah Gyan is one of the seasoned campaigners in the- Black Stars camp- and should lead by example to the new blood but he decided to act up. Gyan can't afford to behave like a naughty teenager especially with the Afcon tournament just around the corner. Swinging his moods like a pregnant woman will do more harm to the squad than good. One minute he announces his retirement from international foorball- only to come out of his premature 'retirement' and demand armband. Mr Gyan has been in the game for too long and should know better. His antics are bound to divide the team or unsettle the camp at worst. By demanding an armband he is securing his spot in the starting berth. He can't wear the armband seating on the bench after all. No one is bigger than the team- Gyan must never think he is the main man in the squad. The Black Stars mentor- Kwessi Appiah should snub him and give- the younger ones a chance to don their national colours with pride. Appiah must put his foot on the ground and show who is in charge of the team.
