Following Kaizer Chiefs's capture of David Zulu from Chippa United during the current transfer window it seems the Chiefs mentor is not too thrilled with the move for the forward.
Zulu joined up with his new teammates earlier this month after confirming the deal a few months prior to the Christmas break. Since then the Chiefs coach has thrown several hints in the media that he might not be a fan of the forward.
First the coach opted not to have him in the starting 11 in the international friendly against Hoffenheim, although Doc Khumalo was the one in charge, with the coach saying its too early to throw him in there. But why worry about that while its only a friendly at the end of the day?
The coach went on to say that Zulu should not expect day offs at a club like Chiefs and more recently said that he will have to change tactics now that Kingston Nkhatha is gone to accomodate Zulu, because he's not the same number 9 as Nkhatha.
Do these comments have to do with the fact that the coach did not have a say in the deal? Is it because the coach feels the management did little to keep the Nkhatha at Naturena after setting their sights on Zulu? Or maybe the coach is just expressing some tough love to the new lad?
