With the Premier Soccer League naming coach, Pitso Mosimane, as coach of the month for both January and February, while Chiefs' Willard Katsande was named January's player of the month and Downs midfielder Hlompho Kekana walked away with the February player of the months, it's questionable that they were worth enough to whoop those prices, especially after we've seen the likes of CBD making rounds.
One would say at least one of the players of the month prizes should have been won by one by Castro, Billiat or Dolly. However, you can't write-off what Hlompho and Katsande did for their clubs during those month. It's just that nowadays football has become political off the field, some fans can agree while others disagree.
Hence, I'm asking if the above individuals deserve those awards. Honestly speaking from my own perspective, I think coach Pitso Mosimane deserved that prize, and it won't be a surprise if he walks away with coach of the season, come the end of the season.
Having said that, what are your thought following the PSL monthly awards, were you satisfied? If no who do you think deserved those award?
