All of the club’s fans know that Kaizer Chiefs is a family business and that it is the most supported team on the Southern part of the continent.
It is with great disappointment that, over the last few years, the club failed to acquire players that made the grade at the club for whatever reason. Kaizer Chiefs is not short on sponsorships and has a major source of revenue and we are well aware that the money is not used to buy players.
Management seems to have lost interest in the team and the fans are made to pay for that. One would wish to plead with Mr Motaung to wake up and save the team’s brand before it is run into the ground, as we have seen with Moroka Swallows.
The club must value its fans, because they played an important role over the years and are now all frustrated. Furthermore, we call on the club to ensure they get quality players and a new coach in the off-season, because it is now or never.
