Former Chippa united and current Bidvest wits midfielder, Xola Mlambo, is having the best spell of his career and the PSL’s big teams lost out big time on his signature.
The player has similar qualities to former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Bongani Zungu, though the team looked to Lucky Mohomi as his replacement.
Mlambo took Chippa to a 6th place finish in the league and he has now mastered the Wits midfield that beat Pirates and Chiefs in a week’s time, the same way he did with Chippa against both teams.
Mlambo could pair well with either Katsande or Manyisa at Chiefs and Pirates, respectively, and it’s a pity that the national team coach turned a blind eye to him.
Though Wits suit him well, they did not need him that much, as they have young Ntshangase, Jabu Shongwe and Ben Motshwari, but there’s nothing with competition.
Mlambo is by far the best in his position and his partnership with Monare would tarnish many PSL midfielders or teams.
Do you think Mlambo Could've been a great answer to both Soweto giants’ midfield?
