Zimbabwean international and Mamelodi Sundowns attacking player, Khama Billiat, is one of the most consistent performers in the Premier League over the past three seasons.
One can wonder why Billiat continues to fail to make his way into Europe, consider that he has achieved everything at club level for Sundowns, including winning the CAF Champions League, playing in the FIFA Club World Cup and being nominated for a CAF award as the best African-based player, which was later won by his teammate, Denis Onyango.
He also represented his country at this year’s AFCON tournament which was held in Gabon during January. The 2015/2016 PSL footballer of the season had been leading up front for Sundowns’ most dangerous combination. Then, again, in the current season, he's been a catalyst for the Chloorkop-based outfit along with Percy Tau and Themba Zwane. He has pace, great technique and skills and his first touch is out of this world. He has all capabilities to make it in top European leagues.
However, his age remains a concern as Billiat is 26-years-old. European clubs prefer teenagers and youngsters in their early twenties from Africa. Yet, age aside, Billiat is a quality player and there is no doubt that he can play anywhere in the world.
