"Baxter Brought Unity And Discipline To Bafana" - Reader's Voice

"Baxter Brought Unity And Discipline To Bafana" - Reader's Voice

The reason fans always call for an overseas coach to be at the helm of our teams is now being justified by Stuart Baxter.

The British man has enjoyed great success in South Africa, ever since he was brought back by Kaizer Chiefs and his secret to success is obvious.

Baxter instils discipline and unity to the team and hence, since he returned, has been winning trophies. However, now that he is coaching Bafana Bafana, we are likely to see a big change in our national soccer team.

Having already started by breaking a long-standing record failing to beat Nigeria, with the team looking unshakeable, playing and beating the Super Eagles in their own country, in front of thousands of fans. The 0-2 win for Baxter will bring respect to the other countries, at a time when Bafana needed it the most.

In addition, this could be the beginning of a good run for Bafana, knowing that they still have a lot of games to play, like the World Cup qualifiers, AFCON qualifiers and the Mandela Challenge.

It’s time to take on the giants.

Having said that, what do you think could be Baxter's secret?

Let's talk again after beating Senegal. Super eagles were not complete squad and they played young squad not sure if we were undermined or players not willing to play for eagles of Nigeria. Let's all be honest the Eagles have not been the same after the boss left for much talked about move to buccaneers ezimnyama ngenkani. Well deserved and important win for Bafana. Not to dwell too much and looking forward for the next official game. Keep up the good work coach and the boyz. Time we qualify for tournaments. We paying lots of money to watch the games so it will be fair to watch our nation participate in world stage. Salute

Its too early to judge. We played better in the second half but Nigeria was all over us in the first half. We scored two goals and win the game but Nigeria was the better, i am still not conviced with our team. Mashaba's team came back from 1-0 down and won the game 1-3 away from home but look what happen at the Afcon. Players always give 100% for a new coach. Lol that feeling of having a new gf and wanting to bang her hard.

Am still not convinced with Bafana Bafana after a long time of heartaches, headaches and disappointments they will have to do more than just beating Nigeria 1. Qualify for AFCON 2.Qualify for the world cup then I will be convinced and forgive you for what you put me through over the years.

I definitely agree my man, we just have to maintain the standard. It wouldn't make any sense to beat Nigeria away and then drop points against Cape verde. I know these are different qualifying games for different tournaments, But am still saying we need to maintain the standard.
