The reason fans always call for an overseas coach to be at the helm of our teams is now being justified by Stuart Baxter.
The British man has enjoyed great success in South Africa, ever since he was brought back by Kaizer Chiefs and his secret to success is obvious.
Baxter instils discipline and unity to the team and hence, since he returned, has been winning trophies. However, now that he is coaching Bafana Bafana, we are likely to see a big change in our national soccer team.
Having already started by breaking a long-standing record failing to beat Nigeria, with the team looking unshakeable, playing and beating the Super Eagles in their own country, in front of thousands of fans. The 0-2 win for Baxter will bring respect to the other countries, at a time when Bafana needed it the most.
In addition, this could be the beginning of a good run for Bafana, knowing that they still have a lot of games to play, like the World Cup qualifiers, AFCON qualifiers and the Mandela Challenge.
It’s time to take on the giants.
Having said that, what do you think could be Baxter's secret?
