Are Chiefs Signing The Right Zimbabweans?

Many people have criticized Kaizer Chiefs for signing mostly Zimbabwean players every time the transfer window opens. They have even earned the nickname 'Buy one Get One Free', due to the high number of Zimbabwean players that are always associated with Chiefs.

There is nothing wrong with signing players from our Neighbours, and, actually, the fact that they have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, ahead of South Africa, shows that they have abundance of talent. But are Chiefs signing the right ones?

Whilst there has been a few that have gone on to make a name for themselves at Naturena, including Musona, Katsande and Nengomasha, many of them have struggled to live up to the high expectations that are always associated with playing for Chiefs.

Billiat, Ndoro, Rusike, are some of the top Zimbabwean stars currently gracing our shores and if Chiefs wants to sign so many Zimbabweans then surely those are the kind of Zimbabwean players should be donning the Black and Gold of Naturena. Not the likes of Karuru, Rusike and Amidu that have recently disappointed very much at Naturena.

Are you happy with Chiefs signing so many Zimbabwean players? and Do you think they are currently signing quality players from our neighbours?
