5 Players Who Are Carrying Chiefs’ Future

Kaizer Chiefs are currently counted amongst the country’s three best clubs. And they are counted as second best South African club continentally. However, let's take a look at players that are currently holding the club’s future in their hands.

Eric Mathoho

'Tower', as he’s affectionately known, is one player which Chiefs can't afford to lose is the near future, knowing that his presence on that defence is vital and not forgetting that his also one of the luckiest players when it comes to goals poaching.

Brilliant Khuzwayo

The lad may not be playing as regular currently, but his availability on that Chiefs bench gives the coach options. Should anything happen to their number one Keeper Itumeleng Khune. Khuzwayo can also deliver the same service as Khune.

Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein

The attacking midfielder is another player that Amakhosi can count as indispensable, because his role in the club is as a crowd pleasure and the team’s heartbeat, therefore losing him will be like losing another 'Yeye'.

Emmanuel Letlotlo

At the of 20, he’s already playing at the professional level, a privilege to any player, meaning h still has more to offer, especially in the frontline, even though he hasn't find the back of the net as of yet.

George Lebese

GL17 showed his faith to the club, by extending his stay in Naturena last year, despite that there were European offers, and not forgetting that downs were offering him large sum of cash. And the fact that 'Shabba' may hang up his boots soon, this also gives GL17 the advantage to be a leader at the club.

Do you agree? And which other players do you think are Chiefs carrying future?
