Irate Fans Throw Missiles At Kaizer Chiefs Players
Angry Fans Threaten To Riot At FNB Stadium As Kaizer Chiefs Players Are Thrown With Projectiles
Kaizer Chiefs' shock 3-0 loss to Chippa United on Saturday was further soured when fans pelted the team with projectiles after full-time, before threatening to riot at the FNB Stadium.
Amakhosi saw their slim Absa Premiership title aspirations dealt a major blow as Thabo Rakhale, Mxolisi Machupu and Edward Manqele were all on target for the Chilli Boys, leaving the Soweto giants without an answer and seemingly out of the title race.
Supporters of the Glamour Boys were left fuming after the final whistle and immediately surrounded Kaizer Motaung's Presidential booth at the stadium, demanding answers over the team's shortcomings.
The Chiefs players then fell victim to missiles and projectiles launched at them from the club's fans, while some supporters even went as far as destroying parts of the FNB Stadium stands structure.

A faction or irate fans at the stadium informed the Siya Crew they planned to wait for the team bus outside of the venue after the game to demonstrate their displeasure at the club's performance.
However, according to sources, the Chiefs bus left without incident and the players unharmed.
As it stands, the match commissioner's report will likely provide more insight into the situation, while the Siya Crew will continue to contact the PSL for a statement.
