Former Orlando Pirates head coach, Milutin Sredojevic, who these days heads up the Zambian national team, has named a strong 26-man squad for the upcoming AFCON 2022 qualifiers.
Chipolopolo have tough back-to-back African of Nations Qualifiers against Botswana over the course of next week.
Micho’s men are currently winless in group H and sit bottom of the table behind Botswana, Zimbabwe and leaders Algeria. However, the 2012 AFCON winners will be spurred on by three consecutive wins against Bafana Bafana as well as Ethiopia in recent international friendlies
As he looks to turn things around for Chipolopolo in AFCON qualification, the Serbian has named a strong squad, led by a host of PSL players.
Former Orlando Pirates duo Augustine Mulenga and Justin Shonga, who turn out for AmaZulu and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila respectively, will lead the attack against the Zebras.
Meanwhile there was also place in the team for SuperSport United attacker Gampani Lungu.
The matches are scheduled for Thursday 12 November, with the reverse fixture scheduled for Monday 16 November.
