Teams across the country are all bolstering their ranks at present as they look to achieve their goals in the second half of the season, whether that be winning trophies, finishing inside the top eight or avoiding the drop, although some have been busier than others.

Pirates are the latest team to get in on the action after they confirmed on Thursday that both Justice Chabalala and Tebogo Tlolane had joined Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United on loan respectively, however the Ghost are still waiting for their first incoming signing this month.
Chiefs have been involved in incomings and outgoings as they sold Lorenzo Gordinho to Bidvest Wits, released James Kotei, sent Kabelo Mahlasela on loan to Polokwane City and then signed Kenyan international, Anthony Akumu.
Elsewhere, Chiefs’ title rivals, Wits, also added Kgaogelo Sekgota on loan from Vitoria Setubal in Portugal and snapped up Eva Nga from Mozambican outfit, Costa do Sol, while a couple of other foreign players have made their way to South Africa in the former of Moses Waiswa (SuperSport United) and Milos Lacny (AmaZulu).

Another move that made headlines this month was that of Mduduzi Mdantsane after he was released by Baroka and taken to the league’s Dispute Resolutions Chamber before signing for Cape Town City, while Granwald Scott returned to the Mother City to join Stellenbosch after leaving the Clever Boys.
