Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch could be at risk of missing the upcoming eagerly-awaited Soweto Derby.
It has been confirmed by the Premier Soccer League this week that the upcoming Telkom Knockout quarter-final match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be played next Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Lorch, who scored Pirates’ goal against Stellenbosch FC in their 1-0 win in the Last 16 round of the competition, is currently sitting on three yellow cards thus far this season.
With the Soweto giants going to their league match against Stellenbosch tomorrow (Saturday), while also having another match against Highlands Park next Tuesday, the Buccaneers attacking midfielder will have to avoid picking up another yellow card in Makhulong, if he doesn’t get one in Cape Town.
Lorch was the scorer of one of the goals for Bucs in their 2-1 victory over Amakhosi in their TKO semi-final clash at Moses Mabhida in November last year.
