Teko Modise has taken up a coaching role at Cape Town City.
The former Bafana Bafana international officially hung his boots at the end of last season, where he has since been involved in a more administrative role with the Citizens.
However, it seems that Modise has already taken the next step of his career, after getting involved with the club’s annual DreamClub 100 tournament.
At the end of the tournament, 20 players will be selected to trial with one of City’s development teams, which will be coached by Modise.
“DreamClub 100 is a program that excites me very much. I’ve seen the impact it has on kids from communities that are similar to where I come from. I had to get involved with it especially from a coaching side where I saw some great young talent who would benefit so much with a bit of guidance from me. It also gives me the opportunity to do some coaching with a young group of players who are eager to learn,” Modise told the Siya crew.
