In for continuation in their resurgence under coach Norman Mapeza, Chippa United seem to have more of their targets at Orlando Pirates for squad reinforcements.
Soon after joining the Chilli Boys last month, Mapeza said he would need to bolster the squad as part of his plan to help the side in the fight against relegation.

It is believed that the Port Elizabeth outfit might look at Pirates’ Bongani Sam as one of the players to try and bring in January, as reported in edition 1151 of Soccer Laduma.
Initially, Chippa had been linked with Tebogo Tlolane from the Buccaneers, however, indications are that the Eastern Cape club’s former player is not keen on a move back to the club.
According to sources, Chippa have turned their attention to Sam, with view of helping him to revive his career, while he contributes to the club’s cause.

The 22-year-old has struggled for game time, having not made any official appearances for Bucs since joining the club.
Meanwhile, Bloemfontein Celtic have also been linked with the South African youth international for a January loan.
Chippa’s resurgence under Mapeza has seen the team win back-to-back matches against AmaZulu and Black Leopards respectively.
