Keagan Dolly has experienced a challenging past few months with regards to injuries, but now that he is fit and ready he is eager to use his form to contribute to the national team.
The 27-year-old was sidelined for a long period of time last season, which saw him make just six Ligue 1 appearance for French-based side Montpellier.
But now, Dolly looks to have overcome the most challenging part of his career in Europe so far and upon returning to action, the player also received a call-up back into the national team.
Bafana Bafana will face-off with Sao Tome and Principe in back-to-back Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers this evening and on Monday.
“As a player, each and every one of us wants to be part of the national team. I think all the players here are looking forward to the game, especially after the results in our last camp. We really want to win both games especially because we are playing here at home,” Dolly told the media.
“I think it shows that we want to go forward and we are moving in the right direction. It is always good to have players come in with confidence. I think with the squad we have it is a good balance of young players, experienced players and I think we can work well together.”
“It is not a secret that I have not been playing as much. I have been suffering from injuries but I think that is in the past now, I had a good preseason for nine weeks and that helped me a lot and gave me confidence.”
