Former Mamelodi Sundowns winger, Anthony Laffor, has spoken about his move to Chippa United.
The Chilli Boys announced Laffor’s signing, as well as that of former South African youth international Ayabulela Konqobe on Friday evening.
Laffor has been unattached since parting ways with Sundowns in December, and as confirmed by the Eastern Cape outfit, the 35-year-old Liberian has been signed until the end of the season.
“First of all, I’d like to say a very big thank you to the coach and the president himself Chippa for giving me this opportunity. It wasn’t difficult (joining the club), because after I spoke to the coach and the president I knew that Chippa is where I’m supposed to be, because I had other clubs that I was talking to but I chose Chippa United because I knew that Chippa is the best place for me to be,” said Laffor, speaking through the club’s media department.
