The Siya crew has been led to believe that Soweto giants Orlando Pirates will use their strong ties with Chippa United to lure a key player, after a deal with Kaizer Chiefs fell through.
Pirates are looking to holster their striking department following a disappointing campaign in front of goal and Eva Nga is believed to have emerged as a top target for the Soweto giants.
In edition 1272 of Soccer Laduma, it was reported that Nga and Chiefs were unable to agree on personal terms, which led to Amakhosi backtracking in their pursuit of the attacker.
AmaZulu have also been in the picture, as previously reported by the Siya crew, but it appears that the Buccaneers could look to hijack the deal and are believed to be leading the race for the big Cameroonian forward.
The Chilli Boys exercised the option in Nga’s contract to ensure they do not lose him on a free at the end of the current campaign.
The Siya crew has been reliably informed that the Bucs are frontrunners in the quest for the player's signature, with management at Pirates having made contact with Chippa and the clubs' strong relationship over the years could swing in favour of the Soweto giants.
