AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu has expressed his anger at the manner in which Kaizer Chiefs approached Siyethemba Sithebe.
Amakhosi are understood to have completed the signing of Sithebe and the Usuthu expressed his disappointment on the way the Glamour Boys handled the process.
"Kaizer Chiefs didn't do justice because they spoke and finalised everything before the transfer window opened. In December they were already done with his deal which is unacceptable, but we don't want to start anything," an angry Zungu revealed to the media.
"I told Bobby Motaung that I'm not happy with their approach. He will only join them once they complete everything, at the very least at the end of the season. We told them what we want and to tell you the truth, we have a right to open a case against them."
A disappointed Manzini Zungu further revealed that the situation has left them with no choice but to no longer use him for the remainder of the season.
"Sithebe did a lot for AmaZulu. But we must make it clear that the club will only use players who are dedicated to the future of the club. He won't be used in the CAF Champions League and even the league games, basically he is no longer part of the team's plans.
"We are not happy with how he is moving to Chiefs, his agent and Amakhosi spoiled everything for him at Usuthu. I won't blame him and we want to send a message that we are not a dumping team. We don't need rejects, we are a team that represents the pride of the Zulu Kingdom, we must be respected.
"Chiefs sent us a letter that confimed that they are in talks with Sithebe but did not say how far they are with him. There were not formalities because we have proof that both camps finalised everything in December.
"You see this thing of Durban or KZN being treated like they are nothing or their bosses are stupid, it won't work anymore. We won't allow that," added the AmaZulu director.
