Josef Zinnbauer’s Pirates side certainly stole the show when they made their way onto the field rocking the adidas Superstar 2020 sneakers, with sleek tracksuits and accessories to match.
The adidas Superstar sneakers first launched in the 70s and was an instant hit amongst fans.
It made a return in 2020 to celebrate its 50th anniversary, something that was embraced by the Soweto giants and they rocked a special edition, which featured their renowned skull and bones logo.
Former Orlando Pirates star Daine Klate, who is a lifelong adidas member gave his stamp of approval to the kicks as he posted his special pair on Twitter.
