Komphela Sees Positives Despite Loss
Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Steve Komphela, felt there were positives from their loss to Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup.
Pirates retained the title after seeing off Chiefs in yet another penalty shoot-out, however the AmaKhosi boss believes there are more positives than negatives.
"From our side there are two things, we're looking at, we looking at the level of fitness, we looking at performance, we know that there is no friendly match between the two teams," Komphela said after the game.
"There are more pluses for us, we've see quite a lot that we've been working on and apart from the goal we conceded on set-piece, we told them there was a possibly that were going to score a beautiful goal and it happened."
Komphela added that Chiefs are looking towards the start of the season.
"I know Mandla Ncikazi must have been watching this match, it's not going to be an easy one, this is Kaizer Chiefs we have to deliver and we await the Wednesday match," he added.
"There's a lot we can build on and we looking forward to the start of the season, because this set the tone for the new season.
