Kaizer Chiefs fans are desperate to see one of their new signings in action, and have made their voices heard as he draws closer to donning Amakhosi colours for the first time.
Check out the latest vote count in the gallery above!
The Amakhosi faithful have made 55% of the votes at this point in time for the 2019 edition of the Carling Black Label Cup, with Bernard Parker still leading the way with over 83,000 votes, almost 8,000 more than Itumeleng Khune, who is in second place – a late surge has now brought fresh face, Lazarous Kambole, into the line up.
The 25-year-old attacker has picked up almost 34,000 votes by fans ahead of the clash on July 27, and looks almost certain to start against Orlando Pirates as he looks to make an immediate impact for his new employers.
Kambole impressed for ZESCO United last time out, and comes to South Africa with a big reputation having shone in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, and he will no doubt be looking to hit the ground running if he keeps his place for the CBL Cup.
Chiefs XI as things stand:
Itumeleng Khune, Lorenzo Gordinho, Daniel Cardoso, Rama Mphahlele, Erick Mathoho, Dumisani Zuma, Siphelele Ntshangase, George Maluleka, Khama Billiat, Lazarous Kambole, Bernard Parker.
