SuperSport Jet Out For CAF Quarter-Final
SuperSport United Left South Africa For The CAF Confederation Cup
SuperSport United left South Africa this morning as they made the trip to Ndola in Zambia for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final.
Matsatsantsa drew 0-0 with ZESCO United in the first leg of the clash last weekend, and although they will be wary of the Zambian champions, they will also be confident in their own ability to get an away goal.
Eric Tinkler and his troops got on an early flight this morning ahead of tomorrow’s game and will use Saturday to acclimatise in Zambia and check out their surroundings before taking the field for the match itself.
The encounter will take place at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium at 15h00, with the winner going on to face either MC Alger or Club Africain in the semi-finals of the competition.
ZESCO won only two of their last five home games, and are currently on a five-game winless streak in all competitions, but as semi-finalists in the CAF Champions League last season they are not to be taken lightly.
