Orlando Pirates’ arrival in South Africa has been delayed, owing to flight related issues.
The Buccaneers were initially scheduled to arrive in Johannesburg this morning (Tuesday) at 10h50 from their CAF Confederation Cup game in Tunisia.
Bucs beat CS Sfaxien 1-0 in their game in Tunisia on Sunday night. Pirates have confirmed on the club’s official Twitter account about the changes of their flight back home.
“Flight from Dubai has been delayed due to technical difficulties. The team will now arrive at 13h00,” Pirates tweeted.
On their arrival in Johannesburg, Eric Tinkler and his technical team will have to prepare the side for Saturday’s Carling Black Label Cup game against Kaizer Chiefs.
The team is expected to be welcomed by a group of enthusiastic fans on their arrival.
