Mamelodi Sundowns are yet to confirm which players have been registered for their CAF Champions League campaign, although according to sources, one goalkeeper has been left out.
Thela Ngobeni, who is growing frustrated with his situation at Sundowns, could finally be on his way out of the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to Siya sources, the 29-year-old has not been registered for Masandawana’s upcoming CAF Champions League campaign, with indications that the Brazilians have only included Reyaad Pieterse, Kennedy Mweene and Denis Onyango on the list.
Sources have added that there have been offers for Ngobeni’s services, with indications that Sundowns will make a decision in the upcoming January transfer window.
Highlands Park and Free State Stars are believed to be two of the clubs interested in the goalkeeper and it remains to be seen where his next football destination will be.
Ngobeni will see his contract come to an end on June 30 and should Sundowns could cash in on a reduced fee should the club opt to sell the player in the January transfer window.
