Kaizer Chiefs captain, Tefu Mashamaite, says that he and his teammates are aware of how well organised Raja Casablanca will be this weekend.
The Amakhosi face their first tough test in the CAF Champions League this weekend as they take on three-time CCL winners, Raja, in Durban, and Mashamaite is well aware of what they have to offer.
However, the Glamour Boys captain believes that his side gained a lot of experience from last season’s unsuccessful campaign, and that Chiefs are looking forward to the clash.
Speaking to the media, Mashamaite said, “North African teams are tactically always well organised. We gained experience in this competition last year. It will be interesting and we are looking forward to the game.”
Chiefs host Raja at Moses Mabhida Stadium this afternoon as they seek to use their home advantage in the tie ahead of the away leg in a few weeks time.
Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are all in continental action this weekend as they attempt to fly the South African flag in CAF competitions.
