Ratings:

Brimah Razak: 7/10

Razak put on a confident performance and made some good saves during the match, although he needs to be more commanding in the box.

Anele Ngcongca: 6.5/10

Ngcongca was disciplined throughout the match and kept the shape well at the back, but was quiet going forward.

Wayne Arendse: 6/10

Arendse looked solid at times, but the partnership between himself and Soumahoro on the day did not look comfortable.

Bangaly Soumahoro: 6/10

Soumahoro showed some good moments in defending, but he was also caught napping for Horoya's goals.

Tebogo Langerman: 6/10

Langerman looked shaky in the early stages but became more solid as the game progressed, while he hardly showed his attacking side of his game.

Hlompho Kekana: 6/10

Kekana was not at his usual best. His passing accuracy and shooting range were uncharacteristically out of sync on the day, although he did put in a good shift defensively.

Tiyani Mabunda: 6/10

Similarly to Kekana, Mabunda looked overrun by the Horoya midfield as the home side dictated play for most of the game.

Gaston Sirino: 7.5/10

Sirino was enterprising throughout the match. His movement and an eye for a pass stood out. He crucially scored the second goal from the penalty spot.

Sibusiso Vilakazi: 6/10

Vilakazi was playing too deep and his influence in the game was reduced as a result.

Percy Tau: 7/10

After a quiet first half, Tau created the first goal for the Brazilians, unselfishly laying the ball for Billiat instead of going for glory and he was a constant threat in the second stanza.

Khama Billiat: 7.5/10

After being kicked around for most of the first half, Billiat was tough to deal in the second, as he leveled matters with a composed finish while he also won the penalty, which Sirino converted.

Substitutions:

Oupa Manyisa: NA

Not on the field long enough to receive a rating.

Motjeka Madisha: NA

Not on the field long enough to receive a rating.

Horoya are a good team, five internationals from Burkina faso and other countries the problem here is that South Africans are not familiar with African football. Hence when we don't know a team we think they are bad. Downs will reach the Quarterfinals

Lets talk football here not some air, Bangaly is a very good defender. He does at times become casual but that is his game, He is very Quick and strong, his recovery is amazing and solid header. I think he will be solid with Rivaldo Coetzee. Nscimento is good with the ball and interceptions not man making

@musah005 What wrong did Bangaly do on yesterday's game? Are you gonna blame him for every goal Sundowns that Sundowns concede? First goal was both our center backs, they didn't cover for Langerman after he was beaten. Second goal was just a mess, everyone was just ball watching. Bangaly played better, just that lack of discipline killed us.

I watched that match two times, Bangaly was the only defender seriously defending the rest were just standing especially Arendse and Langerman they disappointed me.
