Mamelodi Sundowns have arrived in Morocco where they will continue their CAF Champions League preparations for Friday’s encounter.
The Brazilians will lock horns with Wydad Casablanca in the second last group stage fixture, where Head Coach Pitso Mosimane will look to secure either a win or a draw on the day.
However, knowing how difficult it will be to secure maximum points over Wydad on their home ground, Sundowns will need to make sure they avoid a loss, while also preparing to secure no less than a win in their final group C encounter against Horoya in South Africa.
Head Coach Mosimane told Sundowns’ official website at the weekend that he is aware of the threat that Wydad will pose Friday.
“If you get three points, then you’ll be happy. One might also be enough because we have to sort out Horoya here in our last game,” Mosimane said on Sundowns' official website.
Sundowns will lock horns with Wydad at 20h00 on Friday, August 17.
