Soccer Laduma rates the individual performances of the Kaizer Chiefs players, following their 1-0 win over Township Rollers.
Here are the ratings:
Brilliant Khuzwayo: 6
Hardly had anything to do throughout the 90 minutes. A quiet game for the Chiefs shot-stopper.
Siboniso Gaxa: 6
Did well defensively on the right flank but hardly got forward as much as he usually does.
Tefu Mashamaite: 6
Another solid showing from the Chiefs skipper in the heart of the defence throughout the 90 minutes.
Eric Mathoho: 6
Continues to impress alongside Mashamaite and won most of his aerial duels against the Rollers' attackers.
Tsepo Masilela: 6
Returned to line-up and was a constant threat going forward and impressed with his defensive duties.
Willard Katsande: 6
The Zimbabwean made his presence felt in the midfield by getting stuck in against a side who had no problem making a few tackles in the middle of the park.
Siyabonga Nkosi: 7
After a couple less than impressive performances in the league, Nkosi put in a fine showing alongside Katsande and also popped up with the winning goal.
Mandla Masango: 6
Not the best of games for Masango, didn't fully utilise the space he was given and failed to get crosses into the box.
Siphiwe Tshabalala: 7
One of Tshabalala's better games this year, looked lively in the final third and played a role in the goal.
Bernard Parker: 6
A quiet game for Parker but worked hard upfront and had a chance inside the opening minute but his finish was too tame.
Matthew Rusike: 6
A decent showing from the Zimbabwean in the number nine spot, he set up Nkosi's goal but his decision-making could have been better.
Substitutes:
Morgan Gould: 6
Brought on in the second, as Stuart Baxter was shutting up shop and did well to help Chiefs keep the clean sheet.
Katlego Mphela: NA
Was not on the field long enough to receive a rating.
