Mamelodi Sundowns have left out a midfielder for their trip to Equatorial Guinea.
Sundowns jetted out to Malabo this weekend, where they are gearing up to face Leones Vegetarianos in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League competition.
However, Siya sources close to the player has revealed to the Siya crew that George Lebese did not travel with the Brazilians, with the player growing more and more frustrated with his situation at the Chloorkop-based club.

Lebese has been linked with a move away from Masandawana in the past months, with the player recently admitting in local media that himself and his camp have had meetings with the Sundowns management as he looks to secure a move away from the club next year.
The 29-year-old has not played a single competitive match in the current 2018/19 season for Sundowns, while just making 15 appearances in all competitions since joining the club in August 2017.
However, despite the player having been left out of the current squad who jetted off to Equatorial Guinea, there is a possibility that Sundowns could have still registered the player, despite the midfielder strongly linked with a move away from the club.
Now, it remains to be seen what will come of the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder’s situation at the Brazilians and whether he will see any game-time before the January transfer window opens.
