Jali: They Just have To Wait And See

Andile Jali Has Spoken Ahead Of The CAF Champions League Encounter

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 16, 2018 10:01 AM

Andile Jali has spoken about returning to CAF Champions League action, after making his last appearance for Orlando Pirates in the final a few years ago.

The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder has been registered for the Brazilians’ CAF campaign, ready to hit the ground running for his new club after spending almost four years in Europe.

“It’s a good thing that I am back in the country and I am playing for a team that’s in the Champions League,” Jali said on Sundowns’ official website.

“That’s the one thing that I want to win. It wasn’t nice losing in the final. I have told myself that my time will come.”

The player then went on to add that he will avoid talking about what people can expect from him in the new season, although is keen to show how much he has grown on the field.

“I can’t say what people will see from me. They’ll just have to wait and see. They’ll see how much I have grown on the field,” the 28-year-old said.

“It’s good that I am in a team that wants to win every tournament they participate in. That’s when the competition for places comes in. That’s when you must fight to show how good you are,” he added.

Sundowns will travel away to face AS Togo Port in the CAF Champions League tomorrow, July 17.

More is expected from recent signings from Sundowns. Sundowns has developed into a formidable force to be recognise within the PSL. With the service of one of the best coaches in the continent. Coach Pitso has resurrect Sundowns. Into the number one team/club in the PSL. His reign within the club has seen him. Brought quite a number of great players. Andile Jali, Jeremy Brockie, Maze, Serino, Silva, Khama, Tau. I am quite certain they'll deliver immensely into the club those remaining players.

You know Downs lost 2 important players in Tau and Khama because they understand the way we play but I think psl teams will strugle to deal with us this year because of new attack im sure their coaches dont know how is silva,Meza so that is the probkem now for oppornents they'll need to read that new sundowns attackers it was easy for them to plan when Percy and Khama were still there because they know them

More for Sundowns with the experience that Jali have shared from Europe, Sundowns are the favorites to be the first South African side to clinch second Caf League. The boy has a winning culture, accuracy passes and is gonna pose the danger against all odds.
