Bafana Starlet Pens European Deal

Highly-rated Bafana Bafana starlet, Liam Jordan, will soon be looking to light up the 2019 COSAFA Cup, but before he does that it has been confirmed that he has penned a new deal in Europe.
Jordan, who is still just 20-years-old, directly contributed to 18 goals for HB Køge in Denmark this season, scoring seven and assisting 11 as the attacker missed just two of their NordicBet LIGA games – both due to suspension – over the course of the season.
Now, as the club seeks to push for promotion in 2019/20, it has been confirmed that the youngster has signed a contract extension with the Danish outfit, with club management raving about his contribution to the side in the season just gone.
Køge's sports director, Per Rud, told the club’s official website, “Liam has a huge potential, and we are extremely pleased that he has chosen to add another year to the contract. Liam came to the club a year and a half at a time when his development was a bit silent as follows from the lack of playing time in his club in Portugal. With us, he has recovered the game joy and has developed to be one of the profiles with both goals and assists."
